This is a chronicle of my trip home from Malaysia, and our last Christmas on the farm. Please feel free to post comments and respond to stuff that I've written. If there is anything you would like to see or pictures you'd like me to take and post on-line just ask and I'll do my best to oblige.

Good-bye Casablanca

This is a picture taken from the shores of the Atlantic looking up at people on the break wall. "You should never be afraid of the light..."

These are the classes of Moroccan students who made my life a bit more interesting than usual over the past six weeks. When they bitched and complained about work or reports or what have you, my response was always, "You guys just act so cute when you think you have a choice. Life is hard. Now get it done or I'll fail you."
In the end, they helped me to review and redefine my 'map of reality'. (see 'the road less travelled...' by M. Scott Peck)

This picture is for my friend Terri who wrote and said that she wanted to see me in more traditional Moroccan clothes. All I can say is, 'I'm not muslim, but I love dressing like one'. What do you think T?

After this, I am off to the wilds of the western Sahara and all over the place so I will not be writing a new blog again soon. But my beloved readers can look forward to 6 cool blogs leading up to my fiftieth in the coming months as I head all over Morocco, Spain, Germany, Denmark and then back to the UK before going home (again) to Canada.

See ya later alligators!

Gorgeous photos.

You changed your mind about your frustrating and spoiled students by the end of it then. Ahh, the Mark charm and stern sensibility won them over.

Looking forward to showing you more of London, and hearing of your many adventures.
